The screen

Trading Konsole has one page, the Workspace. The sidebar runs down the left, the tabs sit in the top bar, and the rest of the screen holds the panels of the open tab.

The sidebar

From top to bottom:

• Accounts: every account your connections bring in, with today’s P&L and a Live or Paper label. Click one to make it the account in use. When the account has a daily loss limit, a bar shows how much room is left. The button beside the title opens the account list, with Copy trading, Hide account names (for sharing your screen) and Account for this window only.
• New connection: adds a Rithmic login, see Connect your Rithmic account.
• Markets: the futures with their last price and the change since yesterday’s close. Click one to show it in the open tab: it goes to the selected panel if that panel shows an instrument, otherwise to the tab’s first chart.
• At the bottom: the LIVE / OFFLINE status, Guide and Settings.

⌘B on macOS (Ctrl+B on Windows and Linux), or the button at the left of the top bar, hides and shows the sidebar. With the sidebar hidden, the account in use, the status, Guide and Settings move into the top bar.

The top bar

• The tabs: each tab is its own arrangement of panels. Double-click a tab (or press F2) to rename it; the icons beside the name rename, duplicate and close it.
• The layout button changes how the open tab is split.
• The + button opens the workspace menu: + Add widget, New tab, Empty tab, New window, your saved templates, Save this tab…, Manage…, Export this tab and Import a tab.
• On the right: Orders, the working orders of all accounts (click to see and cancel them); the risk bars of the account in use, when it has a profit target or a loss limit; the theme button (like the system, light, dark); the arrow that hides the top bar for more vertical space.

Panels

Each panel shows one widget. Its header carries:

• the title menu (click the title): Change to one of the usual widgets, Choose from the library… or Empty this panel. The panel keeps its place; only what it shows changes;
• the instrument (click it to pick another from the catalog) and the coloured dot of the link group;
• minimize, maximize and close.

A chart adds the timeframe, FP (footprint), ƒ (the chart’s indicators), ⚙ (chart settings) and Orders (the order panel inside the chart).

An empty panel asks What goes here?, with a few quick buttons and Browse the library.

The widget library

The Add widget dialog lists the widgets by category: Charts, Order flow, Options & GEX and Trading, plus All and ★ Favorites. A search box sits on top, and each card has a short description; the star adds a widget to Favorites. Widgets your plan does not include stay visible, marked with the plan that has them, and cannot be placed.

You open it from + › + Add widget, from a panel’s title menu, or from an empty panel.

Ready templates

+ › New tab opens a short wizard. You can Start from a layout (choose how to split the screen, then Fill for me or Leave the panels empty) or pick a ready template: Trading on the chart, Just the chart, Order flow, Scalping, Liquidity, Delta and volume, Options and levels, Cockpit, NQ and ES, Four markets, Six markets. Then you choose the market and the tab name. Templates with panels outside your plan carry a Pro badge. Your own saved templates appear under Your templates.

A fresh install opens on the Trading tab: an NQ chart with SMT, ICT Levels, Killzones and VWAP already on, the Trader on the right and the Account below.

Guide

Guide opens Guide: how to read the data: an entry for each panel and measure, with what it is, how to read it and how to use it, and a search box.

Settings

Settings opens the settings in three groups: Look & feel (Appearance, Chart, Sounds), Trading (Contracts, Risk, Alerts, Connections, Options) and Account & system (System, License, Support). The guide Settings goes through each section, and The composable Workspace covers tabs, panels and windows in detail.
