Placing an order
Adding the trading widgets and sending orders, brackets and chart lines.
You drive paper trading from the Workspace widgets.
The widgets to add
Open the + menu next to the tabs, choose + Add widget and, in the Trading category, add:
- Account, pick the active account (SIM-1/SIM-2) and see the PnL summary (day / open / realised). The chosen account applies to every widget; a click on an account in the sidebar does the same.
- Trader, the order pad. A chart can also hold it inside: the Orders button in the chart’s header shows or hides it.
- Positions, positions per account, with a quick Close.
- Working orders, the live orders, with cancel-one or “Cancel all”.
Sending an order
In the Trader you set the quantity (stepper or 1–5 presets) and choose:
- BUY MKT / SELL MKT, at market.
- BUY BID / SELL ASK, limit at the current best price.
- limit price + BUY LMT / SELL LMT, limit at a price you choose.
SL/TP brackets
Tick Bracket SL/TP and set take-profit and stop-loss in ticks, with the trail option. From then on your entries go out with a bracket: as soon as the entry fills, the platform creates the TP and SL and links them in OCO (when one fills, the other is cancelled). You can save the setup as a preset and reapply it.
Chart lines
Working orders and the position appear as lines on the chart: you drag them up and down to change the price (snapped to the tick) and use the ✕ to cancel the order or close the position at market.
If you try something that is not allowed (a quantity beyond the limit, say) a red warning appears and the order does not go out.
